How we charge

On a project basis
…with quotes agreed before work starts. If the brief doesn’t change, we don’t go over budget even if we got our quotes wrong. If the brief does change, we all agree on the new direction and budget. A project is a great way to start working with us.

On a retainer
…to make costs predictable and avoid having to quote for every little project. We treat retainers like rolling projects, with the same controls, goals, planning and reporting. So you always know where you stand.

As a combination
…starting with a low retainer but adding projects on top as they come along. Or drawing against pre-paid ‘Service Packs’.

As a Velocity Acceleration Programme
…a bespoke 6- or 12-month programme with projects and milestones pre-agreed.

Our goal here is simple: we want clients to feel they’re getting great value, even if we are a bit expensive.

If a project is much quicker and easier than anticipated, we adjust the fee accordingly.

If a retainer is too high for the activity levels, we change it.

If at any time, a client is not happy with our work, we revise it until they are.

We’re fair with our clients and work with people who are happy to see us fairly compensated for our contribution and effort. Win-win.
