  9. Short, succint and free of jargon. The Manifesto articulates the issues and the opportunities that we have been discussing internally. It’s logical and I wonder why so many Marketing Exec’s struggle (me included) to get their Board to understand that the market has changed.

  12. After 18 months, only a dozen comments? That’s appalling, but take heart: it reflects upon marketers, not upon your work. What did I think? It could be improved here and there, but my changes would be largely cosmetic and I’d still clear my desk and rush to your door, if it weren’t for marketing’s sacred “Nobody over 40 gets an interview” tradition. Please, keep doing your thing – some of us may be frustrated at not being allowed to join in, but do still enjoy a wistful read.
